Plywood sheets are about 1/4" smaller on each dimension due to saw blade kerf when cutting. Store sheets flat with weight on top to avoid warping.
We use this material in our laser shop every day. We have found the basswood core cuts much cleaner and faster than an MDF core, allowing us to make more product in a shorter amount of time.
